ok well im confused on the type X wiring in ohms. i know it has dual 4 ohm voice coils which means i can bridge my amp at 2 ohms or at 8 ohms correct? i only see one problem there though.........my amp isnt 2 ohm stable bridged. so i guess im trying to see if there is a dual 2 ohm type X or if i can somehow bridge my amp and still make it work? thanks.

get rid of that amp ASAP and get an amp doing 1000-1700w rms at 2 ohms for the type X

thats the thing though is i dont want to have to buy a new amp. im having enough trouble finding someone to buy my old subs and im not gonna drop like 600 bux on an amp and sub if i have an amp and 2 subs sitting in my closet. do you think it would just be a better idea to just buy one type R and see how it sounds? the amp does 480 RMS at 2 ohms for each channel so i would only use one.

ok i dont care stop criticizing me all i want to know is what is a great sq sub that will still get loud for max of 300 bux and can handle 900 rms at 4 ohms or will use 500 rms at 2 ohms (bridged as opposed to 1 channel) i just want to run 1 12 and just have it sound good.
