i have a newer car so i dont want to void my warranty by messing something up so i had a quick question about a power strip and neon lights. i didnt want to cut any wires and do any fusing so i just bought a power outlet. i was just wondering if anybody knew if two neon lights would damage anything? it says stuff about it cant exceed a total drain of 5 amps but i dont know much about this so if anyone could help that would be greatly appreciated
The neons shouldn't use more than five amps. You can usually get a good idea of how much power they'll use by the size of the power wire for them and any fuses (if any).
