I'm about to install 2 cvr 12's with a Audiobahn A800v amp with a 1 farad capacitor. I know how to wire everything, but my question is how big do you have to go watts wise to start thinking about installing a HO alternator?
well.... if u have less than 1000 rms, i would not get one untill u get massive voltage drops. it also depends on ur stock alternator , and how many amps ur amp draws. if your lights dim big time, and your voltmeter drops significantlyy each time the bass hits, you want a new alternator...
