Ok im designin a system for dis girl i know. Its goin in her eclipse. Her parents are loaded, but almost completely against the whole system thing. Anyways she likes the D9s and JLs look for sum reason, and she wants somthin that sounds good, but also looks good. I've never heard a D9 or w3v2 and dont kno anything bout what box it needs and all that. Shes thinkin maybe 2 12s. Any ideas?
D9's for sure. A bunch of people got together and tested out about 5 different woofers. they were the Kicker Solo X, JL w7, Diamond D9, ID Max, and Orion H2.
The D9 came in 3rd for SPL behind the Solo X, and W7. In SQ, it came in 2nd behind the W7. The D9 was above the ID Max! (pretty impressive)
That tells me this is a great subwoofer with awesome SQL so she should deffenetly go with it.
