i dout 50 rms will be tht big of a deal yes its overpowering but..but really its not gunna kill ur sub unless u turn the gain up...so if i were u go for it u'll be fine
well gain settings are the settings to match the input signal of the music from your head unit/ cd reciever to amplifier. That will help you setting a clean distortion free sound while protecting your subs and amp from the damage caused by the higher volumes, if done properly. I think
turn down the gains on the amps, slowly turn the hu volume up till you hear it starting to distort, then turn it down a bit. then match the gain on your amp with your hu pre out, and then the rest accordingly, bass, lpf, ss.
ya do as said mike, you'll have to turn up the gain a bit so you can hear sound. Just as small as you're just able to hear sound. Than start setting the settings
