i have 2 10" dvc infinity subs that have 250w rms. i'm unsure how to wire them because the specs on them say they have an imedance of 2 OR 8 OHMS each. what does that mean and how do i change the impedance? also the outside of the box says that each sub has dual 4 ohm voice coils. what does that mean and why is that number different for the number on the specs? please help me with all these question. Thanks Much!!!

dont know why it says one thing on the box and one thing diff on the amp specs. hmm. you cant change the ohm load, just the load that it present on an amp. www.the12volt.com for wiring options

lol. a dual voice coil 4 ohm sub wires to 2 ohms or 8 ohms on an amp. thats why it says that.

No, they are not 4 ohm subs. They are duel 4 ohms subs. They present a 2 ohm load or a 8 ohm load on the amp. They will not "give " a 4 ohm load.
