Hi,
I appreciate your feedback on my question about Infinity Kappa vs. Polk Audio, here is what I am thinking, please share your views.....

Kenwood DPX701 Head Unit
Infinity Kappa 42.7i & 52.7i
INFINITY REFERENCE 7541a 4CH POWER AMPLIFIER
BAZOOKA BTA8200 8" AMPLIFIED 200 W

This set will all install without modifications to my car which is what I prefer.

Please share whether this is too much equipment or not enough equipment and whether the proposed set seems matched together properly.

Do I need the amp and subwoofer or am I going overboard?

Is a powered subwoofer better than a non-powered model?

Maybe the speakers I have selected make an amp less necessary and maybe I still should put it in to maximize the performance of the speakers....I really am looking forward to some opinions!!

I realize that listening to music can be a very subjective experience but I appreciate the advice. Who knows, perhaps there will be a consensus on the issue.

Thanks so Much!

In my experience, people who get bazooka tubes aren't satisfied with their systems for long, and as for the amp for your speakers, def. a good choice.

to clarify, I mean that getting an amp is a good choice for the kappas, but I'm not fond of infinity amps
