JL Slash or JL E-series Amps

Ok guys, what is the diff b/t the JL Slash and the JL E's? Im new to this stuff!

I believe the slash amps are mono 1 channels and the E series are multi channel...

the slash series hae regulated power supplies and output stages.
the E series do not.

What do you mean by regulated power supplies Mr Glass?

in simple terms, with a regulated power supply, any input voltage from 9 to 16 volts (about) comes out 12 volts on the other side.
it's "stablized" so more voltage doesn't equal more power, but this also helps avoid clipping if voltage drops.
