How much of a discount do you get on car audio stuff if you have your own shop?

the installers do.

the sales people don't make that much cuz they only need product knowledge. and they must bust a.s.s. to make sales(especially at high priced shops with high priced equipment)

wtf shop orders in bulk besides BB and CC???????

if you aren't a big time corp. then you wouldn't order in bulk. that is asinine.....

you make money on the products....

for example....you sell a Treo SSX for $800
you buy it from the dealer for about half of that.:-)

so on most products, you make 100% profit.
a little less if you sell for less than retail. mor like 70-80%

i guess small cities dont sell much...
in order to even become a dealer, you must order a certain number of products... 1G atleast... u cant just become a dealer and order 6 pairs of subs...

i guess must be special contracts and manufacturers... remember im trying to apply for dealers from several manufacturers..

my2cents..

ohh forgot, yes they make offer each sub, cause they pay dealer cost for each...which is about 50-60% of actual cost...
