Gold Member Username: TheelfkeeperStockbridge, GA USA Post Number: 2317 Registered: Feb-05 | well, from the amp you hook the positive output to the positive speaker terminal and negitive output to the negitive speaker terminal. but if you have a DVC sub, you have 2 positives and 2 negitive terminals. so you have to hook the coils together too. if you hook all the positives together and all the negitives together, you will wire the sub's coils in parallel, which will give you a lower load and may or may not be too low for the amp. if you hook the coils positive to negitive, you will wire them in series. giving you a larger load, which will decrease the amp's output and therefore the volume too. how you wire subs depends on the amps and VC configurations. you have to wire in a way that best fits your situation. www.bcae1.com read section 38. |
