i just bought a brand new legacy blue diamond amplifier its 2400 watss max its the 2 channel well whats the rms power cause myt old 600watt poweracoustik hit just as hard is there somthing wrong with it?
any info is apreciated and i have it hooked up to 2 12 inch volfenhag zx-4712s 1000watt max 500 rms

take that amp back, its not putting out maybe 500rms if that!!!

2400 max = 1200rms on a REAL amplifer
on a leagacy that 1200rms can be cut by 1/2 so drops u back down to 600rms on a clear sunny day!

why is the rms so low? and is it a good deal i paid only 40 but whats a good amp about 1500rms

a good 1500rms amp, will cost $400-500

Get anything from Zapco, Arc Audio, Genesis, McIntosh, DLS, Brax, Helix and you will not go wrong:-) BTW, their RMS ratings are true:-)

Volfenhag is not too good to say the least:-)

$1 a watt if you pay MSRP.

everything Maris listed is nice. theres also JL, Alpine, Orion, kicker, Hifonics...ect...which are all decient and much cheaper. just depends on your budget.
