I know ,Tune it to the res. freq. of your car.
Well I have a van, so I was wondering what in general is a SPL tuned freq. I have a box at 30hz now but wiil be building a new one soon. I plan on tuning to 35hz. I dont know why im tuning it to this, it seems like a popular number. Im am looking for the most bump. This is the box im gonna build. to match the squareness of the sub. It would be nice to nail the freq. down before i put it together. Any help would be appriciated.
Thanks.

you'll need to tune higher then 35 for maximum spl but im not sure exactly what tune you need. probably around 40ish because of your huge cabin. maybe 45ish? i really dont know.

not a clue mate. Also the load of my van varies due to stock and supply changes. this is why im looking for a general tuning hz..I noticed on cardomain vids a lot of ppl were tuned to like 38-40 for one L7 12. others were at 28. Thats why i picked 35. Seemed to be middle of the road.

yeah but any number around 50 gives you almost no sound quality what so ever. if its an everyday driver 35 will be loud and still sound ok.
