ok lets use the JL Audio slash series amps as an example. ok usually on the back of a mono amp theres supposed to be 1 set of outputs (+ -) now on the back of any of the JL mono amps they have ( + + - -) wats the purpose of this. And JL isnt the only amp ive seen this on ive seen it on a MTX amp

so u can wire 2 subs to the amp easier

Its still a mono amp, just for wiring flexablity

Hmm, I am pretty sure that all mono blocks still have 2 x + and 2 x -. It looks like a 2ch but it's still mono. That is what I have always seen anyway.

so each set lets say on a 1000/1 is worth 500 watts so when u bridnge them thats when it becomes 1000 watts
