Gold Member Username: SouthernrebelMonroe, Louisiana USA Post Number: 2903 Registered: Mar-04 | drivingreckless, i'm only about 70% sure i'm gonna sell it...make an offer though. juliob Terry6405 Trevor Eaton, the 1200d's are supposed to be strapped at 2ohms (each amp would 'see' 1ohm)...but i am going to strap them at 1ohm for burps (each will see .5ohm nominal). My box rise at burp is ~3.35ohm....that means each amp will actually see ~1.675ohm reactive. this bp1200.1 is giving me ~700-750w w/ 3.35ohm reactive. the orion 1200d's strapped at 1ohm should give me ~1500w, if i can keep my voltage up. (getting 2 1100cca batts) plus, by getting 2 1200d's i will be able to stay in Usaci mod 301-900 class. i will be running them at 4ohms strapped daily. |

I've had the amp for about 3 years and it is still working great. and plus the good thing about the amp is you get full output at 2 and 1 ohm. I think i bought mine brand new for $200 off the MyHarmonKardon.com with the circuit city password. That was nice having that password, you could get some great deals on Jbl and infinity. Man what i wouldn't give to have that password again...... Anyway, the only bad part of the amp is the lack of a subsonic filter but you can get those fmod things or just control it from your HU. |

(like i said, i dont have a load resistor to test it w/). yea...its 1ohm stable. but it has a regulated power supply...rated for 1200wrms at 1 to 2ohm. this amp has the ability to put out more power over a given freq range than a kicker kx1200.1 (depending on box rise ) |
