I have been interested in filling in the extra DIN space in my foreign vehicle. I have been wanting to try the Alpine SBS-05DC. It has a 150 watt peak on it but only 50 rms. I have been trying to find a suitable amp for this center channel with not much luck. The only amps I have been seeing that are mono block are all class D. Is class D going to work well with this? The only other option I have found is finding a small powered two-channel and bridging it to stay within the 150 watt peak. I have found the Genesis ST60 which yields a 120x1 bridged. Does anyone else know of any other amps out there that would work well for a center channel setup only? I don't really want to sink money into a two or four channel amp and only use one channel on it. That seems kind of like a waste of an amp. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
