I'm getting two 12" subs and and amp.I have the option to order 2ohm dvc or 4 ohm dvc. Which would i want and aldo what amp would be better mono or two channel? thanks

Right, it depends on the amp that you will be using. If the amp is only 2 Ohm stable, get the 4 Ohm subs, if the amp is 1 Ohm stable, get the 2 Ohm subs. That is if you are planning on getting DVC subs.

isnt that the other way around? if your amp is 1ohm stable get 4ohm subs, and if its only 2ohm stable, get 2ohm subs. (hes talking about TWO subs not just 1, gotta factor in the impedence of both subs)

mono amps will always be better to power your subs. id only use multi-channel amps for speakers and such.

Its a mono 1 ohm stable amp for two orion hp 2ohm dvc subs. Will this work correctly?

no, if your amps 1ohm stable get 2 4ohm dvc subs.

If he wires them in series he'll get 2 ohms to his amp.

its a 2 1000watts orion hp subs 2ohm dvc going to be hooked up to a interfire mono 1ohm stable 1000w rms amp.
