10w6 vs 12w6

im only lookin ta get 1 sub...would i be good with a 10w6...or you think i should go with the 12w6..n whats the diff?

12w6 for one sub imo.....bigger surface area, and I would pick one 12 over 1 10.

you'll find out here that there are subs cheaper than the w6 that will outperform it , but if you have to get it def. get the 12

in SPL not in SQ! I have heard 1 12w6v2 do 146.3 db's so don't doubt the output of thhe w6 even though everyone seems to think they are a strict SQ sub. They have the ability to get pretty darn loud.

thats not a daily setup though..for a daily setup i see where Casey is coming from...and from a spl setup i see where James is coming from, both make good points

I am running 1 12w6v2 in a ported enclosure and am ectremely happy with it's ability all around, but yes Chauncey i see your point.
