I have a Rockford 2002 amp running 2 lightning audio 4 ohms a piece subwoofers. The subs aren't really hitting like normal ones do they kind of off. like they throw on the wrong beat but some sound still comes out. Also they throw out not normal Right now they are hooked up mono. I'm not sure if its a ground or not. Anyone help

what do you mean by they are kind of off and throw on the wrong beat??

sounds like it could be a phase issue. meaning you have a + and - speaker wire switched around.

i would agree with brandon in most cases. i did have the same kind of issue with my system long time ago. turns out it was more complicated then i thought. it was a combination of a cheap amp, so so subs, and the enclosure was completely wrong (tunning wise) for the subs. basically had to redo the whole system over from scratch. i got wat i paid for and had to pay a whole lot more again to get something to please my ears.
