Hi,

Im installing a JL 300/2 and a Kicker kx600.1.

The JL states a 40A fuse (if no additional amps present), and the Kicker states 60A fuse.

Im gonna have one main power wire from the battery to a dist. block next to the amps. I will use a 40A and 60A respectivly at the dist. block, but which fuse do I use near the battery??

Also one last question, does it matter if I use cabling from different companies in my setup? E.g. Pheonix Gold 4ga with KnuConcepts 4ga.

Many thanks in advance, and keep up the good work here!!! :-)

for the main inline fuse by the battery, use a 100 amp (60+40) and it can't hurt to put the reccomended fuse in the line after the distribution block for each amp.

wire is wire for the most part. mixing brands won't hurt.
