i have my subs firing forward in to the cabin with the trunk sealed. with my ports being in the middle it sounds louder than when i had a slot port with the ports on the outer sides.
Ok i wanna make a slot vent for my enclosure for 1 12" Kicker 05cvr. The manual says to make the enclosure like this: (2.25cuft(63.7)+port displacement 3" by 12.5" port, 20.5" long.) I need help finding out what the outer dimensions should be because i just found out that if i tuned the box to 2.25cuft it would be whatever dimensions, but when i add the port and the sub the cuft of airspace goes down so i need to know the outer dimensions and where to put the port and sub at. Thanx, if you need any info about the sub just tell me....
