A friend of my mine is sell his 2 Alpine Type r for 150 with a sealed Box and a Alpine M1005 For about 200. Is that a good deal?? Is that sub and amp any good, i haven't deal with alpine subwoofer before
unless that amp is focked up then thats damn cheap even compared to ebay and make sure that the r's are the 1222 or the 1242 and not the 1221 or the 1241 because the ones that end with a one are the old version only 300rms

thats pretty cheap. but your friend could just be wanting to pass on his old crap to you so he can get something better. if its all in good condition, i say Deal Howie!
the old Type R's are just as good as the new ones imo. and Alpine amps are decient, but i doubt you'll see their rated output.
