Chad Lee Gold Member Username: Bestmankind Los Angeles, CA USA Post Number: 3535 Registered: Oct-05	Posted on Monday, April 10, 2006 - 01:40 GMT have you guys heard the 12w7 in a ho box? that sh!t gets loud. i was lucky enough to watch a guy install one in his car at a local stereo shop near my house. he had 1 jl 1000/1 powering it and it shook the whole store. i've also heard the cvx's and i must say the 2 cvx would beat 1 jl w7 in output but it would be a close match if the w7 was in a ho box.

At a local shop by me they installed 2 12' comp VXs with 2 crossfire 1000ds in a slot ported box (tuned 32hz i belive but dont hold me to it)and hit 151.5 dB. thats pretty impressive. the sq on a W7 is much better. but spl wise i would take the kickers.
