anyone own em?

i am looking for some nice SQL subs

also which one of these do i need to consider my Xmax?

• Linear Excursion (X linear) : 12.8mm
• Magnetic Linear Excursion (Xmag) : 14.2mm
• Mechanical Excursion (Peak-to-Peak) : 52mm

Type R would be better. heard some people have thoes Type S's (new, shiney versions) blow easily. the type X's too.

the only "X" you need to pay attention to is the Linear Excursion.

Dish out the little extra for the Type R's if you want Alpine. The type s still looks pretty cool, but if you want serious bang for your buck, go type R.

yea i had a type s and i liked it alot for what i paid, then i blew it and got a type-r, much better, well worth the extra cash

i got two type Rs on ebay a few months ago for $189 plus shipping brand new. and they sound great. but i want to switch to one sub.

I have a Type-S 12". I like the SQ, but does not get loud at all... Go Type-R.

yeah i have 2 10's and i like them alot for what i paid for um i ran um off a jl 500/1 sound really nice but not too loud now im movin up to 2 15's probably the re se cant wait
