the kicker KX1200.1 and the KX2500.1. is that the RMS or is that the max power ratings. my friend whants to power 2 12inch L5's 600rms 1200max. for 2 would he need one KX1200.1 or the KX2500.1
i know not to go off the max but i was wondering if those amps were 1200 and 2500 max or is that the RMS. i know JL goes by the rms. 1000/1 is 1000watts rms. i was wondering if kicker did the same
should be a good match, and yeah, all subs can handle more than the rms.
personally i don't like kicker, i think there good spl for comps. but in everyday car they suck cause the sq is sh$tty, but if i had to choose i would take the compvr's over the l5 or l7.
i have compVR's in my car and love them. yeah they might not be as clean as JL or companies like that but the price is a hell of alot cleaner than JL and the other compnanies. im just trying to help out a friend who doesent know jackshit about car audio but wants a loud clean system for cheap or a good price
he wants to buy everything from a store. hes gonna get it all from circuit city. i wouldent but im not paying for it. i would get it all online. i got my 2 for like 160 shipped. but he can do whatever he wants.
