What's the deal with refurbished stuff? I'm interested in a Premier p860mp, and the only ones for a decent price that ship to Australia are refurbished, and I can't be bothered waiting any longer for a new one. Are they mainly broken and then fixed, or what?

It's $267, not including $60-$70 postage.

I searched the forums (which I probably should've done in the first place) and I think I'll just wait for a new one, especially seeing as I won't really get a warranty. Thanks Ty.

Refurbs are ok if the product is current. Refurbs of 3~5 year old stuff can be risky.

I'd be importing to Australia but, so it's probably a bit too risky for me.
