Downfiring Subs

i have a 97 ext silverado and no much room in the back so i purchased a small box well it's way to small for my subs can I turn the subs around and have them downfire and use the air in the cab kinda using my cab as the box??? or will this not work.....?

My friend has a jeep wrangler and fit 2 10's behind the rear seat of that, hold on let me draw you a picture....

But no don't mess with that idea of using the cab for a box, too many things could go wrong, and too many things would have to be just right, for a free air design to work. Stick with the tried and true and build or have someone build a sealed box like the one in the wrangler, it sounds good too! and they are shitty kicker comps getting 150 rms each!

for 10's or 12's. i have a buddy w/ 2 memphis 12's in a box similar to those in a 2005 silverado. they sound pretty good.

i have a 98 silverado...i just took out my back seat and went w/ 1 15".
