Try a hAvoc, $325, it'll be worth the extra $25.

A Kicker CVX would be a better choice than the L7.

The loudest 15 inch sub for under $300 is any sub that costs $300 and then you have to tell your wife that you just spent 300 bucks on a speaker.

If not married this works with mothers also.

If you think that is loud, try $600.00! Uh, Oh.

OK, time to be serious, sorry, how about the Orion H2?

Here is one on flea bay....

I've heard there is much better than the H2's for the money. RE and AA being a couple...

Yeah, I thought that the L7 would be the loudest for that price. I have a ported box with 3.5 cubic space and only have room for the 1. The box is tuned to 35-40hz. I have a kicker 1200/1 for it. I will get a dual 2ohm sub also.
Thanks
Brad

I'm sorry but i have a lot of little punks around my house all sporting Audioblahhhs and they cannot hang with a single sx15", not even close, lol. Mys stuff isn't even bolted down yet because I am still experimenting, look deep in the background and you will see the external Aero Ports. Polo.. :-O

PS-PS- the only thing gonna get me to get rid of my SX is a new XXX!

i agree with Chauncey on this one.
1 single H2 with about 3500rms will bust ya box wide open, then ya head!

you would be stupid not to say an SX! I personally would never recommend a kicker L anything. pure SPL or not. Audiobahn is something to think about, but who would want audiobahn?

Best choices are:

Kicker S15L7
Orion H2 15
CVX 15 - I don't like them, you might, I don't... And I've been w/ kicker for many many years!

The H2 is an EXCELLENT choice... L7 is ALSO!... CVX is not under $300 and it doesn't sound great in SPL

Lucas - You are gonna get off of KICKER!.. Kicker does NOT suck!

B - I believe Kicker out-did Orion in the SPL Circuit... If I'm not mistaking! It was Orion or Fusion... One of those

What sux about kicker subs, sq? SPL subs have little or no sq anyway.Build? Most of the time when a sub fails, it is the users fault. Price? Some of the best cheap SPL u can buy..

Still not sure what sux about kicker subs

When.. If I'm not mistaken:

Kicker won the World SQ Championships????
The USACi and IASCA.... Yeah... There... ANYWAY!

And kickers are that cheap.... $289+ and that's usually on SALE!

And your " Build " statement: That's why ALL subs, not just kicker!... I bet Kicker can out last a JL or whatever else you to put up against it * I know it can't outlast a SPL Extreme Competition though * ...

Anything else to say ??? B/c I can come back with something makes you wrong

Actually, that's just miss typing!.. Nuttin' to do w/ the way that I talk! Polo.

ANYWAY!...

I have tried other brands...

JL - SUCKS ( Can't take sh!t )
AUDIOBAHN - Actually surprised me
ECLIPSE - Is pretty damn good!
MTX - Not comment
SPL - OUTRAGEOUSLY EXCELLENT
JBL - Never let me down!
Bazooka - What the hell is that??
Orion - Great. Just great... H2
----------------------------------------

I just like the way kicker's respond! The pressure they build inside your car is what makes me like kicker soo much!

JL - SUCKS ( Can't take sh!t )

Wow I have no idea what you are talking about there. I am not saying JL is the best but the cant take crap is definetely someone that hasnt worked with them. Jl makes some really great products. And only trying less then ten brands you cant pick what you like and portray it as the best. Honestly though if you relaly think kicker is so great at spl, get some DD's and then you will see what real SPL is!
