I got a JVC 50x4 head unit.. 2 Kicke 6x9 DS693 Speakers ... 2 8 inch Kicker Impulse Subs...Crunch PZN2100 400 watt amp. All off Ebay

Need instal help they are going in a boat

Do I just hook up the 6x9 to the head unit and hook up the amp to the sub out on the head unit and then hook up the subs to the amp?

if those are single 4ohm subs, you will not be able to bridge that amp....

I think the subs are 4ohms and the amp can run 2 x 100 into 4 Ohms OR 2 x 200 into 2 Ohms

is this what i should do? 2 x 100 into 4 Ohms?

run stereo(one per channel) if you bridge it it will cut on and off or burn out.

Would I be better off ditching these 2 8 inch subs and getting one 12 or 15 that I could hook up 1 x 400 into 4 Ohms?

Yes, a single 4ohm or dual 2ohm sub.
