i am confused on the wattage. if i got that kicker 2500 that would put 1250 watts to each L7 right? that wouldnt be close to maxing the L7's out at 2000 watts a piece right? or wrong?

you want to go with the L7s rms which is 1000watts. i would not give an L7 2000watts for an everyday ride, maybe for competitions. also when running 4000 total watts rms you are going to get a new alternatior, battery, and upgrade your wires. its really not worth it in my opinion.

i blew my 15" l7's with my kx2500. The birth sheet said 2885 watts. I turned the bass boost all the way up though. If you setup right then you will be safe.

you "could" but thats still a ton of power for one 15. you can run 2 with that amp just fine.
