whats like the average fq that subs usually play? im asking becuase im designing a 1.5cf box tuned to 35hz and the peak of curve on winISD is at like 59-61hz. the curve also stops at 35hz before the -3db mark
most SQ tuned boxes are tunes between 28-32 Hertz. for more SPL, you'd go higher, into the 35+ range. and your car will determine where it peaks at, although the box is a good starting point for figureing that out.
so what would be a good tuning fq for a sql box? its also in a jeep cherokee i want it to fire towards the back of the rear seats to. if i recall (long time ago) sean said that jeeps have a resonant fq of 40hz i think, not to sure tho.
