Picking right amp for subs

i want to know how pick the right amp for my 2 infinity ref's. they are 1200w 12" subs. i have a kenwood in dash dvd player and was looking at a kenwood amp so i can control the amp from the indash, the only thing is i dont know how to match the sub to the right amp. so what kenwood amp would you suggest ? thanks guys

dont get kenwood amp, kenwood HU's are great though

hey guys sorry i dont know anything really about subs and amps. what is dvc ? and about the ohms i can check. and what not get a kenwood amp ?

SVC = single voice coil
DVC = dual voice coil

NEVER match or check anything using MAX WATTS .
Watts given in RMS or WRMS is the true unit to go with .

When matching subs to amp/s , make sure that OHM load is matching & WRMS of sub RMS to amp RMS is close or amp can be a lil higher .
