how does the diamond compare to the eclipse? i have a 600 wrms audiobahn amp and i am not happy with the audiobahn sub i got with it. i want great SQ but i want it too be really hard hitting as well.i would rather not invest in a bigger amp if the diamond is comparable to the eclipse. is the diamond underrated like the eclipse?
the amp is the audiobahn a12005dt, it puts out 600 wrms @ 2 ohms, 375 @ 4 ohms, i heard the eclipse needed alot more power than this amp and i would rather not upgrade my amp right now. diamond audio doesnt compare to eclipse in SQ? btw, what is SQL?
SQL is a mix between SQ and SPL, a daily driver sub. well given the specs on your amp you really dont have much of a choice. I would get the d9 dual 4ohm and run it at 2ohms.
and do you think the diamond will signifigantly out perform the audiobahn aw1000n (600 wrms dual 4) that i have now in a .77 cubic foot sealed enclosure?
LOL! There's a dealership up here that is all Diamond. And my Eclipse Ti's were louder and sounded better than the D9s and the TDX's, no matter how hard that shop tried...
