i got my sx 15 installed yesterday, im pretty mad bc it isnt really loud at all, the port is like 72 sq in and way 2 big and the box is only like 3 cu ft w/o the port. new way, now the amp stopped working, the light thats on the amp thats just for looks is still on, but the like on the remote bass boost is not on, the sub wont play, and the light on the amp that says power isnt on, but the light on the amp that says protect is on. i blew a fuse and i put a new one in but that didnt fix the problem. what's wrong w/ it?

** just remember hifonics amps put out 70-80% of what they say** other then that i think hifonics are pretty decent amps

that port on your SX box isnt too big. and if its not loud then you did someting wrong, its not the subs fault lol.

the alpine is probably underated so the two would be close in power. i personally would get the alpine to match the subs. im not a big fan of hifonics.

if your box is 3cuft before port displacements and you have that 72sq inch port tuned in the mid-30hz range...that box is WAY too small.

try 50sq inches of port...4cuft (after displacements) tuned to 32hz.
