So i can get a xxx 15 for less than 50 bux more than an sx 12, so obviously i am gonna get the 15, but i am guessing its gonna eat my amp alive, would it do decently off of 1200 rms, i will probably upgrade the amp down the road but will put the 1200 to it just to get it up and running for a while.
you should be ok, but don't turn up the gains too much even though you think you're not pushing the sub. You could run into clipping and thats a problem. But look into getting a solik 2k on it to make it really pound.
