Hey Chauncey, I just took my type r's back for a refund... well... just because i'm never satisfied. Anyway, I want good bass. I'm considering my alternate options to the type r's. Is the crystal sub only superior when it comes to sq? what about spl? Just wondered. It would really help.
thanks.

yes!
help me out, bro.
My budget is actually $500
I intended on spending 1/2 on subs and 1/2 on a head unit... but
I can always spend it all on subs and stay with my factory deck (which I'm actually sick and tired of though)

also, the s,h,i,t,t,y part...
I have a mustang convertible and making subs fit and hit is kind of a b,i,t,c,h.
So what do ya think? I really did like the type r's. I just spent to much on them, realized i could get them for half the price i paid if i bought them online, but NOW...
i'm thinking of alternatives.
(i'm sure you know the feeling. lol)
