I have a 10" alpine type-s in a sealed box. The box is .41 cubic feet. The recomendation for my sub is .6-1.25 cubic feet. Should i get a bigger box or stick with the one i got, cause im not too impressed with my sub in this small box
you never really want to go below reccomended spec. lots of time if you go above the reccomended specs you can achieve a flatter response and more SPL too.... a larger box can also help you reach full xmax easier with less watts.
so yes, highly recccomended to get a larger box. if the rec. is .6-1.25 i would go any less than 1 but i try to go as high as they reccomend... if not higher...
