Has anyone been told that there is a chip that is associated with the GM deck that is already in the car, and if yuo ant to install a deck (ex. panasonic) that you have to either buy a 150$$ chip otherwise have the current deck redirected to the trunk????
okay do you know what it is or where i could find it cause , every place i call to see how much they want to install it, they want me to pay 140 just for some speaker or something i am not sure i dont really understand it all i know is it seems sorta expensive
