When i got my installation kit there was only a kit for my aftermarket cd player which goes where the stock radio used to be on my 98 tahoe. But below the AC knobs is where the cd player is located in this years model of tahoe. I was wondering if anyone knows if there is a slide in insert or cover for this CD player area?
There should be. In fact, i'm surprised you didn't get one. You might want to go back to the place that you purchased the installation kit from and ask them about it.

Yes there is one, I had one in my 97 tahoe, I think it came from G.M. though. check online for one.

92-99 Tahoe has the same system as my 98 Suburban....I think. Is there a factory amp? Any special wiring other than the adapter to the factory harness?
