he was using two kicker l7 10 solobarics he has one mtx class d 1500 watt amp per 10 so 3000 watts rms he took first in his division at haggerstown md but then again he wins first just about everywhere he goes wether its with a cerwin vega stroker or a mtx 10 8000 or the kicker solobarics

yeah but with his mtx 8000 10's he could beat them im sure. He did 145 db with one mtx 8000 10 on 800 rms but that was in 4 cubic feet for one and he doesnt have room for two 4 cubic foot boxes. Hes runnin it in a truck so theres not alot of room. Hes talking about buyin a crx now. They are are known to be spl monster vehicles. Think they are termed "REX".

nice, a cab has little space, so it will be loud.
imaging that number in a suburban now. =D

his resonant freq is 63 hz in his truck so it easier for him to hit high numbers....smaller vehicles are easier to hit high numbers

what kind of truck is this in?
w/ a res. freq. of 63hz...i'm guessin a single cab. right?

like you said, higher res. freq. do help you in getting high #'s.

oh yea...a "rex" is a honda CRX...they are amazing vehicles for SPL. (hatch back)
