I just recently bought 1 15" sub in a slot box with a 1000 watt rms rating and i told the store that i bought it from i would be pushing 2000 rms to it and they told me that if i broke it in for about a week at low levels it would take it. Ive had it for about 2 days now (ive played them all day long) and decided to crank it up a little bit and thats when i started to smell it burning. it still hits fine and still sounds good but do you guys think its already fooked up and or if it will even last? Before you guys start laughing its an audiopipe eye candy and i only tried it cuz the dude was pushing on me so hard and said i could bring them back if i didnt like it. rather impressed with it though, got pretty loud. please help
