alright for the time being im gonna hook up my 2 12" mtx8500's to my PA gothic series 1600. with the PA amp each sub will get around 400. I was thinking about selling the PA and getting 2 audiobahn a8002t or 2 directed 1500d amps. i want to put around 700 rms to each sub. would an amp for each sub be better? thanks

orion makes good one ohm stable amps
alot of power for not too much money

orion 1200d = more than 1200 watts RMS @ 1 ohm
RE 12.1 = more than 1200 watts RMS @ 1 ohm

but what im thinkin is that 2 audiobahn 8000t, off of ebay, would be like $250ish. and most decent mono amps that would put that much cost around $300. i would think that the 2 would be more efficient.

? so you dont think that it would push 800watts at 2 ohms?

That audioburn amp puts out 800 rms, they just have a poor build but it is a good budget amp

unless your running 14.4 volts the amp will not push that....
