I have been driving a 1998 gti vw for a while now, and weve been through a fair few setups. I had a diamond audio TDX 12... slammed. i loved it i was thinking about going back to those but the need for anew vehicle has arisin and the Dub is leaving my possesion. So my question is i already have the speaker setup and amp and deck, but i want to spend about 1k myb a little more on subs and amp. The catch is my new vehicle is going to be a yukon or some suv. I like 12's i had a 15 but just to much for the hatch, literally messed with the drivability of the car. I want it to slamm and be heard but still have decent SQ so can i get some reccomendations on what to get 2 12's or 2 15's and what amp would go good?
well 3 type r's is pretty good, you could go w/ 2 or 3 sx 15's, maybe 2 or 3 xxx's, re has a new sub coming out sometime called the mx, it has a neo magnet, i dont no much else about it though.
