Stopping vibrations

i HAD to mount my amp on my box... i know bad idea... how do i stop the amp from getting alot of vibration from the box??

why dont you mount it on the back of the seat...or under...im suree you can find another spot...but how many watts RMS you got....if its under 700 or somewhere around im sure youll be fine

well its 800RMS at 1 ohm... but its bridged... because i have a lexus SC300... no room for anything... trust me...;) but the amp is 23 1/16 long 12 wide 3 1/4 high... to big for under the seet, gas tank is behind seet....

Get some cloth felt or some soft rubber bushings and use them as spacers between the amp and the box, but still screw the amp to the box.

Heh... I added an extra layer of 3/4 inch MDf to the back of a box I needed to put an amp on, as well as rubber spacers roughly the size of a penny, and about 1/8 of an inch think between all the screw points on the amp and wood.

Dip your entire car in a silicon bath...That should solve all problems...
