Hey all I have a question regarding a setup my friend has. We have been arguing over the best way to set it up and I have decided to ask you guys to lend us a hand! He has a 2000watt Audiobahn 4125HCT 4 Channel amp & we are setting up a Audiobahn 15" Sub (AW1505Q 1000watt DVC) My question is how can we go about hooking this up for maximum bass? We were told to run each coil to a seperate channel (Ch1 & Ch2). Would we get better bass with it setup like that or by wiring one coil to the other and just using 1 channel? All input & advice will be much appreciated! Thanks in advance!
You should get plenty of bass from that amp. I've tested that before. Depending on your sub's ohm, you can either bridge 2 channels into on and use that to power the sub, or do one VC per channel. If you're doing that, then make sure each VC gets exact identical signal (mono not stereo).
