yeah kicker sx 1250.1 and sh** .(JL 1000/1 ) same power from 1.5ohm to 4 ohm and from 11v-14.4v same power! kicker needs 14.4volts to get 1250watts@1ohm three JL 12w6v2 wired to 8ohm each will =2.7ohm load

"kicker needs 14.4volts to get 1250watts@1ohm"

4 u to have such a nice system ur are sounding like a newb, it will reach 1250+ rms at 13.8 volts, btw i have 4 and love them to death. Also u do realize that the 1000/1 will only put out 500 watts @ 8 ohms so u will be seriously underpowering them

He said 8 ohms each - I think we are to assume parallel wiring from there to = 2.67

The 1250.1 is a bad choice for this application - you'd be paying for 1200w+ and only able to get ~500 from it.

I guess I could have just enabled html code :-)

bold = <b>text</b>
italic = <i>text</i>

not sure what other tags work. It doesn't seem like very many.

the JL amp would be the best but wouldn't that kicker amp be closer to 1000 or like 900 watts @ 2.67 ohms

is there any amp i could get to fully power them or should I just forget about the 3 subs

you could run the 3 on that JL, the optimum power for those subs is about 400-500w per sub, after that your heading into the danger zone for those subs(JLw6 and w7 can be power sensitive). i wouuld run just 2 of those on the 1000/1

--"wouldn't that kicker amp be closer to 1000 or like 900 watts @ 2.67 ohmsThe kicker's 1250"--

Not likely. OCS has it as 1250w at 2 ohms, which isn't correct. It's actually 1250w at 1 ohm, 625w at 2 ohms, so right around 500w at 2.7. Even considering Kickers are under-rated it couldn't do much more than 200w per sub.
