Rem wire for 2 amps

hi, have 1 sub in my car at the moment.

i am considering a 2nd. i have a power cap, so the + and - is simple to connect.

but, how do you spile the rem (remote) wire???

"splitting" a REM wire is no real concern

just run 2 wires into ur 2 amps & connect both to ur REM deck wire ......

or save the hassle of running a 2nd wire back to the deck. just connect a 2nd wire to the original amps remote terminal and go from there to the 2nd amp.

You don't want to do this with more than 3 amps though, as the current draw required to turn on multiple components can exceed the supply of the HU's turn on circuit.

If you ever get past 3 amps you could save yourself a possible blown remote output by connecting a relay.

i should have explained it better like he^ did but yea thats what i meant above - u don't need to run 2 wires all the way up to the deck ........

be carefull with how many you hook up to it. I blew mine before so now i alway's use a relay.
