ok i have 2 15's volfenhag dual voice coils... i wanted to know if anyone can make a quick diagram on how they should be wired for 2 ohms.... right now they are in the box and stuff(i bougth them off smoeone) and they have seperate channels, so im assuming there nto wired for 2 ohms... correct me if im wrong but for 2 ohms dual voice coils u only need one channel correct? and another question.... if you have a 2 channel 2000 watt amp and u only use 1 channel, does the 1 channel put out (the supossably 2000 watts) or just 1000 watts?

theres a diagram of your options, the 2nd one is wired at 2 ohms.

and it depends on the amp as to what it'll put out, what kind of amp do you have?? brand and model.

run that amp stereo, 1 speaker to each channel and wire parallel, neg to neg and positive to positve for each speaker, then 1 speaker to each channel.

the resistance the amplifier is seeing.

your amplifier can run a pair of dvc4's in one of two ways...2 ohms stereo - which is one sub with coils in parallel on each channel. It would look like this, twice -

or, the way I would recommend, is to bridge the amp, and wire the subwoofers parallel for a 4 ohm mono load, like this--
