Yeah there is a big difference in teh two. MTX says that the 9500 kills the w7 but thats on paper. No way in real life would they compare. The w7 has amazing sq while the 9500 doesnt come close. The 9500 does get loud but doesnt sound good doing it. The w7 sounds amazing and gets loud too!
my 2 audiobahn aw1206T's with a 2400 watt 2 channel audiobahn amp blew away 2 9500's with the same type amp.....mtx aint that great at all...., and mtx gets really distorted when you play them loud...mtx dont impress me...
Just to add....we had a guy claim up and down his 9500 12 would sound better then my setup... he is rethinking his thought patern right now....it didn't sound bad....but it wasn't that great either....to bad i am selling the sub.
