I have yet to recieve my subs but when i do I will have a pair of kicker solobaric 15L7's wired to produce a 1 ohm load to an Orion WCC D5000. The sub's handle 1000w rms apiece and the amp is 2000w rms, am i missing anything or doesn't that match up perfect?

If your subs are 2 ohm DVC then yes the amp would be sufficient.

If your subs are 4 ohm DVC, then no.

if they were 2 ohm voice coils they could only be wired to produce 2 0hm or .5 ohm, and my amp is only 1 ohm stable. I had the two ohm version and then sent back once i realized that to swap for 4 ohm version. now i can run it at 1 ohm instead of 2. why do you say that the dual 4 ohm would be under powered?
