Will i need an HO alt?

i have a SX 12-1000rms and a hifonics titan tx1505d- 1500rms and i have 2 extra batteries in my trunk and i was wondering if i could get away w/o blowing my altanator?

it wont blow ya alt...it will put alot of strain on it though...adding another battery MIGHT help

Extra batteries and caps won't help voltage drops and such. The only way to fix that is to A.) Get a H/O alt. or B.) Get an extra alt. installed.

thanks guys (its actually a pretty new alt. my grandma put in it haha cause it was her car but idk if that would help but maybe)

if i was u id take the time 2 pitch in sum $$$ u could get a great 200 amp alt wich is plenty www.excessiveamperage.com

If it's a stock alt. then yes you'll probably need a bigger one. Two more batteries isn't gonna help at all... how do you think they're gonna get recharged?
